The Post-Wedding Project

I promised myself after our wedding I wouldn't take on another massive project for a year.  It's been about thirty days, and I've given up on relaxation.  Our new home, a condo in Brooklyn, is incredible.  Rather, has the potential to be incredible.  Right now it is large, light-filled, and completely devoid of color, furniture, and that swaddling feeling of home.  This is our bedroom, so you can weigh in on the accuracy of my description.

We went for over a month without shades for the windows, and I was becoming convinced our neighbors had set up a YouTube channel documenting our lives.  We now have shades, which aren't doing much to restrict light, but at least we've curtailed the fishbowl effect.  Granted, I just started this blog.

So that's where we are.  Newlywed, new home, big project.  We're excited to make it all happen, and we welcome you to tune in to the transformation.
